I always was a bit curious about Nordic culture/Skyrim. Since it takes place in Skyrim, my curiosity can be slaked.

I only got like 1/2 way through TESIV. I just could not handle that fucking engine. Please for the love of god just use an engine that isn't 10 years old and filled with bugs and soulless character models. Surely you have a dickload of money by now, just license Cryengine 3 or UE3.

I really really REALLY hope the enemy they speak of are the Akavir, the people of the Dragon lands. To me that's what the teaser strongly implies and this would be really amazing since the Akavir are one of the least explored points in the whole Elder Scroll series.

GameByro is used because it can stream large, persistent worlds with decent graphics - there aren't many engine that actually do that...

Will the animations be awful and all of the NPCs petrified looking like in practically every Bethesda game?
Gamebryo is complete and utter shit. Hopefully they retired that piece of horse shit engine and are using something that inst riddled with bugs.

I'm suprised too. Summerset Isle would have been a better choice (natural boundary, barely spoken about ingame and nearby island that reeks of DLC).

i dont care if they use gamebryo as long as they GET RID OF THE LEVEL SCALING ENEMIES!!!!!!!!111...the ones are staying.
The worst thing I can say about myself as a person is that I cried a little when I saw this was announced.
I was kinda hoping for Black Marsh for this game. I can't imagine there being to many Argonians and Khajit in Skyrim. Damn cold...
FINALLY! Since Skyrim is the home of the Nords, I hope they capture some of the aesthetics of Solsteim (sp?).
Oh man, the times before Elder Scrolls games come out, when screenshots, gameplay videos, lore, and other tidbits of ES goodness comes rolling in......is there anything better?
I remember reading about Morrowind for like a year before it came out and getting so so very excited for it. I didn't follow Oblivion much for personal reasons, but God, I can't fucking wait for this shit! Also, I doubt it will be a new engine but I'm sure Gamebryo is going to be seeing almost a complete overhaul, which will practically be a new engine.

As long it's not Gamebryo, we're in good shape. We'll climb one giant, Metal Gear Solid 3-esque ladder to celebrate.
