I didn't need a 30-second video to make me want Super Mario Galaxy 2, but somehow this one makes me want it even more.
This has to be the best Wii commercial I've ever seen! It's like a cross between a holiday season Coca-Cola commercial and an ad for Disney's theme parks. And I like both of those things, so imagine how much I'm digging Mario flying around on Yoshi's back through time and space. This...this is a place I want to go to! Unless you're one of gaming's hard asses, this commercial will likely move you.
This is one of those that will stand out nicely in the future when we're watching "classic" game commercials. You'll be like oh man, I loved that game!

It really made the game look very "kiddy" to me, right down to it being a Disney ad up until Mario showed up. Hell, until they showed the gameplay, I would have thought this was an ad for some Disney/Nintendo collaboration.

I agree, I don't get why I just viewed two advertisements in a row.
And I think I've said this roughly eight times now, but THAT MUSIC, GOOD GOD I LOVE THAT MUSIC. Seriously, Nintendo could make a killing if they sold soundtracks of their games. Don't tell me you wouldn't buy the Galaxy soundtrack in a heartbeat.
