Aaaaanyways, I suppose my question is with the AMAZINGLY awesome Pac-Man CE DX now out on PSN and XBLA, are there any other classic arcade titles that you think are more than due for a Championship Edition style remake/remix?
Also Chad, how upset are you about Disney putting its long string of forthcoming Disney Princess films on hold? I was already angry enough that Rapunzel became the CGI "Tangled" and now this? I think Disney's offices are the ones that are gonna need a Chad Vigo painting.
also, that tiger is definitely saying "PANCAKE? NO YOU FOOL GIVE ME MULTIPLE PANCAKES!"
or something.
Personally, I know it's a minor complaint, but I miss the elaborate jumps Link used to do in Majora's Mask and I never understood why the more recent Zelda games didn't use that.
When you got a gift from santa was it wrapped or unwrapped?
Hey Chad, Collette, and Stella!!
Do you think Ms. Spolsion Man will be an actual innovative sequel? or the same gameplay with a redesigned main character that aims to impress older and retro gamers with its riff off of Ms. Pac man?
Also did you watch Tangled? if so how do you think it holds up to recent Disney movies both classically animated and CGI(non Pixar)?
AND are ANY of you excited for Tron legacy at all? I find myself stuck on the middle since i loved the original and its take on whats its like on the inside of a game/cpu but Legacy seems its just trying to be flashy for flashys sake.
Mickey games that kick ass?
Can Telltale games make Adventure games relevant again?
Also, Dreidels.
Have you played the so-called "weaker" NES Mega Man games (4,5, and 6)? If so, do you think they're really that bad, or are they simply good games that fall in the shadow of the excellence of Mega Man 2 and 3?
@Sam420
Did you listen to RetroforceGO? That's where the name comes from.
Or better yet do you think Catherine’s box art should be changed for a western release? It’s not even that provocative when compared to plenty of DVD boxes and movie posters. Of course this is ignoring the fact that most box art is changed for its western release anyway.
What are your favorite cookies?
Did any of you buy lots of games during the thanksgiving steam sale?
And what are some games that do well with cheat codes?
Anyway, here's my question: Is there any games that you guys grew up playing that you realize that don't really like anymore? Super Mario Bros. 2 definitely fits the bill for me.
What do you think Santa would find on an island of misfit games? Which ones should he rescue? Would any of you rather be dentists?
What constituyes "Retro perfect
The end of Professor Layton Unwound Future was heartbreakingly awesome. These are both titles that Chad's been touting, and I'm so glad he convinced me to play both.
My question for the gang is "What game do you love that totally doesn't seem like your kind of thing on the surface?" For me it would be Gears of War. It's so macho and dumb and warlike, pretty much everything I stand against, but I still love playing it.
You know, I seem to recall a crazy podcast that features some current Dtoid staff and cast offs getting around the iTunes 5 episode requirement by making a couple 5-10 minute episodes. Just food for thought.
But more importantly, what old game in your book most deserves either a sequel or HD remake? I'd probably cream myself if the words "Final Fantasy VI HD is coming" from Squnix,
What games do you love that the general populace hates? I always try those games that everyone just craps all over, and end up loving them (Red Steel *cough*)
Mighty Bomb Jack and Chubby Cherub probably live on the island of misfit games, but they likely belong there along with Rygar and Karnov.
You know what I mean...
Chad, as a leading student of all things Valkyria Chronicles, which one was better, VCI or VCII? The comments were fairly split on a recent staff editorial, so I look to you to settle this raging debate once and for all.
1.) What obscure Disney character would you like to see in Epic Mickey?
2.) What is your favorite things to eat and drink while playing video games?
3.) Touch screens, motion controls, 3D, and plastic instruments. What do you guys think is the next big fad in gaming?
Question: Seeing as how Nintendo has been on a roll of stellar games this year (and knowing that you are a Nintendo fan like me), what projects would you like to see them work on next?
For me it would be Pikmin 3, and a Smash Bros for 3DS
Epic Mickey happened. What would you like to see Disney do next? (game-wise)
