I was laughing so hard when i saw this. I loved AC2 but i guess i can try to respect jims opinion. I just wonder what would of the review score been if someone else reviewed it? Question
how do websites like destructoid, kotaku, ign, pick people to review games? Is there a little hat they pick names out of or do people volunteer? I always wondered what would happen if a person who lets say mainly liked racing games was chosen to review Halo or something like that? And i always wonder if other people on said sites agree with the reviews or wish they reviewed the game themselves.
I remember reading a review on game informer, i cant remember the review but the main review gave it a 3 or so and the second opinion a 8.5 and that's big difference in the review. one person was saying NEVER BUY IT the other saying BUY IT NOW! I wish every reviewing site had a second opinion.
Just speaking my mind i guess
(destructoid needs a edit button)
Also things.
On a side note, anyone hear any news about a demon's Souls DLC?? More armour, weapons, magic and a level, or is this wishful thinking?
Gay analogy time:
You wouldn't get an RPG fanatic to review a sports game, he wouldn't understand it. You wouldn't get a motorcycle reviewer to review a car. Dtoid should move to a letter grade system or get rid of scores altogether. I agree with his l4d2 and MW2 reviews. Then again I'm open minded and can appreciate games from different genres.
how was that a gay analogy? whats gay about rpgs? are motorcycles gay? im pretty sure one of the village people wore a lot of leather, as do motorcycle riders. so i guess you have a point there. youre stretching though. i think you should have been more clear in what was gay and what wasnt gay. you should have said "you wouldnt get a straight man to review gay porn". that would have been more applicable.
