Best of the Network this week photo

[Best of the Network is a look at some of the hottest articles that came out of all the Modern Method Web sites this past week.]

It was Macross day over on Japanator on Saturday. Macross was my first real exposure to anime when I was a kid and the series still holds up to this day. By the way, you can watch the anime over on Hulu for free if you live in the US.

On Destructoid, see what games chill us out. On Japanator, f*ck dinosaurs. And on Tomopop, check out their Righteous Bison Indivisible Particle Smasher review.

thats not macross on hulu its robotech. It was one of my first exposures as well! Although I first saw it on cartoon network in like 98, not when it was originally aired. That top ten cosplay thing is dumb. You know what would have made it worthwhile? If there was AT LEAST ONE valkyrie cosplay on there. CMON!

ROBOTECH was my jam as a kid, but I did take the chance to watch all 3 almalgamated series seperately in their original form about 5 years ago. It was totally worth it, just to see the juxtaposition for myself. In my opinion, ROBOTECH made Southern Cross and most of all Mospeada better (with the character/event ties), but Macross in its undiluted form reigns supreme, no doubt.
