Take notice of the latest trailer to showcase LEGO Batman, and deny your inner child no more. With the booming narration of what sounds like Hollywood's own Don LaFontaine in the background, and the tagline of "Two heroes... A town full of villains on the loose," they snap us to attention. Really though, you had us at hello the debut trailer.

Personally, I still think the inclusion of Harley Quinn is enough to warrant a purchase of the game in and of itself, but with the track record of previous LEGO games -- combined with our mission to stop Gotham City from falling to pieces -- that September release date can't come soon enough. Think you have what it takes to wipe that smile off of Joker's face?

Lego Batman looks like it will be a lot of fun. I'll definitely pick it up.

On an unrelated note, your title is kinda fail.

Sorry about that folks. I was fooling around with the video settings behind the screen, and set this active before I intended to. It's all better now.

Meh.... I can't be the only one unimpressed with the Lego games. Sure Star Wars was original, but now it's getting ridiculous.

Also, COMMENT #1000!

Why did you change the title to "Interested In...", from "Can You..."? Just asking!

Anyway trailer looks ok, if that's meant to be Killer Croc then it's a bit dumb that his head is like that of a normal person.

The Joker bending over at the end was perfect. Completely sold me on this game.

@justice

My mind works like that, always second guessing stuff...titles included. I was thinking the same thing about Croc (if that's him).

Looks good, but it also looks like it plays very similar to Lego: Star Wars.

I just hope they don't abuse that formula too much.

I've been reading about this in EGM and can't wait for it. Different Bat-suits, playable villains, sounds really fun. It's gonna make a great b-day present.

Yes and Yes, I skipped out on Lego Star Wars, so I can't wait until September, maybe I'll get this for my b-day.

I really want this game! The Lego Star Wars games were well done, but I wish they could have incorporated a little more challenge. But, I can't say no to Batman.

We saw a really good Harley Quinn cosplayer at Wondercon, and she wanted Dyson's balls.

They are doing an amazing job of capturing lego-themed childhoods. Only thing that could make this and the other games perfect, would be cross-game support (jedi in batman, batman in Indiana Jones, with their powers etc), and the ability to build your own lego creations to use in the game. I'm thinking Crayon Physics, lego-style.

The latter is no doubt a pipe dream, but come on! I want Vader vs Batman!

Nothing against the Lego game franchise, but I can't help imagining what an actually *good* Batman game in a darker aesthetic would be like...

Maybe a semi-open world stealth game in the vein of Thief: Deadly Shadows. Drool.

Lego games have an awkward camera system in my opinion. Looks pretty neat though.
