This morning I railed against those fools who believe that 3D Dot Game Heroes is merely a Legend of Zelda rip-off, and this afternoon I bring you a freshly baked batch of delicious new screenshots. Included in the gallery are big swords, scorpions, spooky castles and the most adorable world map you're ever likely to see in an action RPG.
This is looking like it'll be an absolutely wonderful PS3 exclusive and I really cannot wait for news on a Western release. This thing cannot look so awesome and simply not come to the US. I shan't allow it, and I hereby claim that I will burn Japan to the ground if this game does not leave Eastern lands.

Anyway...this game has amazing lighting and shadows. I can't get over how pretty they look. That said, I don't like the water.
Also, what would happen if they made a Lego 3D Dot Game Heroes? And what if someone made the overworld map out of Legos. That person would win life.
