Yesterday, Conrad debuted what Sega is calling "Beastly Tuesdays," where the publisher will be unveiling various monsters that can be dominated in Golden Axe: Beast Rider. It seems, however, that there is just too much beastliness for one day to handle, so now we have a "Beastly Bonus."

Above is a video showcasing the Lynth, which resembles a cross between a dinosaur and Battlecat from He-Man. I have no further commentary to add to this video than that. I think that says it all.

Conrad doesn't seem impressed by what he's seen of Beast Rider, but I have to say that it's looking like my kind of game. It's violent, it's straightforward and it's rated "M" for partial nudity. What more could an action gamer need?

Oh my god it is battlecat. Now all I need is for some He-Man like guy to appear in the game and shout " by the power of Grey Skull I have the power."

Also looks like they infused in some Force Unleashed sort of powers. Well not quite, but I think you know what I mean.

Doesn't look overly interesting, but it certainly doesn't look bad. I'd give it a decent play.

I want to ride ALL of the old monsters from Golden Axe, not just one or two. I think it only makes sense to try to recreate as many of the classic monsters. i understand slapping an old name onto a completely new product is common, but, as a child, I treasured riding a beast in Golden Axe.
