10 hour campaign, 90 minutes of cutscenes? That could honestly sway me! I'm a sucker for a good long story campaign. I Would have to buy a 360 again, but them Eewbouxez are cheap now right?
Gears of War is a franchise that shouldn't really put a lot of screen shots out there. They don't need to, first of all, people are going to buy the game regardless, but more importantly, it's damned hard to make group squatting look dynamic.
I love the campaign modes to the first two games, too, but... well, I just hope this doesn't turn into another Metroid: Other M.

There isn't a character I dislike in the Gears universe. They all have their different personalities but I like each and every one. Marcus for the quiet badass, Dom for his loyalty, Cole for being just Cole and Baird for being a smartass. Even the characters in the books I like.

There is no character that I like in Gears universe and probably listening them 90 minutes in cutscenes would drive me mad.
Cole and Baird give Gears nearly all of it's personality, and since I would totally have 10,000 of their babies, that's OK with me. If you don't like them, cut scenes are skippable.

Cool. I also enjoy the narrative and the overall universe. The wife...more so than I. Should be a magnificent overall package when it ships. Im sure I will invest hundreds of hours and get more than my money's worth.

If Baird and Cole actually have a part in this game, then sweet. Otherwise, Gears narrative doesn't make much sense. It's mostly a story about Dom, who is far and away the most interesting character in the game. Everyone else I don't care about.
