Looks fantastic. Clover/Platinum have been always been on the verge of creating something really special but always falling just ever sol slightly short, I really do hope that this is the one.

I think that's the point. It's like Devil May Cry, only without some Capcom suit poking their nose in saying what you just said.
Hopefully it doesn't get too silly to care about because that's just as bad as it being too grim to care about, but I'm alright with ":D" being the the story. It's a game about a sexy witch with librarian glasses with a Godiva hair catsuit and guns on her feet who can apparently turn into what I'm going to say looks more like a black cheetah than a panther, with things on the shoulders that remind me of Amaterasu.

The plot (from what I've seen in the trailers) seems like the potential weak point of the game. Or this came could suffer from one of the only things the original Devil May Cry suffered from... having a little TOO serious of a story... ("Everlasting LIIIIIIIGHT" quote anyone?)
I'm not sure what just happened in that trailer but it all looks pretty epic. For some reason this has me way more excited than any DMC did, maybe just cause the fighting is so waaaay over the top. Story or not, body slamming dragons is pretty amazing.
Corny acting? Swords and guns? Improbable jumping? Combos? Magic power? This is definitely the new Devil May Cry game!
Bayonetta has an uncanny resemblance to my wife. I just showed it to her, but she is not a gamer, and looked even less interested in this website.

Capcom is probably kicking them selves in the ass about now for letting Clover go. Capcom can still hold their own though.
I'm not feelin' it. but I also lost interest in DMC after the first game, so thats to be expected. man I loved that DMC demo that came with code veronica like 9-10 years ago...
Gameplay looks a little more generic than I was hoping for, except for transforming into a panther made of hair part.

I was never a DMC fan, and the Platinum name was the only thing keeping marginally interested before, but I'm starting to warm up to this title.
