Did you know that Bayonetta director Hideki Kamiya is bald, but isn't gay? Apparently he wanted the world to know that. He also wants to the world to know that he thinks former Tecmo developer Tomonobu Itagaki is an idiot who has unrealistic ideas about breasts. Yeah ... those two really aren't fond of each other.
"I am bald, but I am not gay," confirms Kamiya, answering a question I'm sure we were all asking. He then went on to talk smack about boob-obsessed Itagaki, explaining that "It's a huge mistake to think like an idiot that big breasts on women seem erotic."
This is not the first time these two gentlemen have crossed swords. In their last bout, Itagaki trashed Okami of all things: "My daughter tried playing Okami, and she got sick of it pretty quickly -- and I got pretty sick of it, too... So I heard Kamiya said something about the action genre not moving forward in eight years. Can you tell me more about that? ... Was he asleep for eight years?"
Whether the beef between these two is simply professionally competitive or deeply personal is anybody's guess, but I'll say one thing: Watching these two brawl is always supremely entertaining.

Ōkami, Viewtiful Joe, Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 2, Bayonetta (better than DMC 1, 2, and 4, from what I've played of it) and more.
Itagaki's track record:
Dead or Alive after Dead or Alive (nuff said...) and Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2; then cried like a baby and quit Tecmo.
As soon as Kamiya talks shit about Itagaki's daughter (who may or may not be named Hailie), it's all over.

Now hold on there. I think the unrealistic portrayl of women is just as unattraftive as anyone else with half a brain but ain't nobody say there was anything wrong with a decent pair.
That said Itagaki is just a perv. I mean this comes to no surprise.
I know I'll be brutally attacked for this, but I didn't actually enjoy Okami. LOVED the art, but the progression and the combat where I had to keep stopping everything to use the brush, along with the limitation on the brush in adventure gameplay, just made it feel...I dunno, it didn't hold my interest. I've run into a few other people who felt with way, and I've also run into tons of people who extol its virtues but haven't actually played it. Did you guys enjoy it personally?

PLEASE PLEASE for the love of all that is good and holy, please tell me you are trolling and/or joking.
The only thing he's made that is almost as good as NG Black is DMC3, and that's after he made 2 crappy DMC games, and after 3 he made another one. So DMC3's quality seems more like a fluke than real talent since he's completely unable to follow it up.
DMC had very unsatisfying combat, the worst camera in the series, and a story that's described at it's best as laughable
DMC2 had terrible gameplay which was honed to be increadibly easy and got rid of pretty much all strategy needed, also it got rid of Dante's personality which is one of the best things in the series IMO
DMC4 was only half a game, they made you play through 4 levels as nero, and then gave up and just make you do those same exact levels as Dante, who they didn't put nearly enough time into as his attacks and strategies just flat out don't work on certain enemies, they hardly even tried to make him really fit into the game. I honestly felt cheated spending 60 dollars on this unfinished mess of a game which could very well have been amazing if the developers (like ya know, kamiya) weren't so increadibly lazy.
Viewtiful Joe was fun but the bosses were all so similar and boring, and it also had lag later on which for a console game is a pretty big flaw IMO.
Other than that I never finished RE2 (I've never liked giving consensuses on games I didn't beat) and haven't played Okami. While NG Black has probably the funnest gameplay in any action game I've ever played and it was pretty damn polished all around except for the camera, which I think the issues with are pretty overblown.
