To celebrate the success of its free-to-play third-person shooter Battlefield Heroes, EA has pumped out a new trailer that sets up the story behind the game. Apparently, the reason behind the Royals vs. Nationals conflict was an incident of alleged cheating during an Olympic track cycling event.
The supposed cheats, of course, made a mockery of the King's mustache. I'm not making this up -- go watch the trailer if you don't believe me. I found it to be reminiscent of the intros to some of my favorite childhood cartoons. In other words, it's totally radical, dudes.
And for those who have yet to delve into Battlefield Heroes, I think the general consensus around these parts is that the game isn't without its flaws, but it is still worth playing.
Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied: "bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

DICE does not listen to the community or fan base what so ever. They give the best kind of free feedback and falls on deaf ears. Known flaws go on without ever being addressed and DICE's rare update usually only makes matters worse.
@CRAZYAPE69 - More like everyone's a Commando. Gunners aren't as common as the other 2 classes.
To be honest, I'd say that this game is very good despite its flaws. Its fun, it doesn't take itself too seriously, and the class balance is quite decent, although its lacking variety in some areas (e.g. maps)
For those who haven't played it yet, I'd recommend giving it a try.
I'd continue playing Heroes, but only 16 players in a match seems a bit too low for me to handle, and no autobalance is kinda frustrating. So I gave away my beta badges and BF points.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME
lamest commercial ever!
Idk, I haven't taken the game for a spin yet, but I'm tempted. I'd much rather a proper 2142 sequel though.

The beginning amused me though.
Fighting for the royal king,
The nationalist's want to win,
To battle in arenaaa's!
Battlefield Heroes, heroes!
Everyone is brave and unique,
abilities reaching their peak,
as they fight for their honour.
Silent assassin creeping around,
Surprise attacks, never making a sound.
Commando.
Out in the open, firing his gun,
taking the bullets, but he never runs,
Gunner.
leading the battle, helping his friends,
brave and strategic, the fight never ends,
Soldier.
Battlefield Heroes, heroes!
Now it's time to join the fight,
pick a side and do it right.
The Battlefield Heroes, heroes!
What an amazing advert :]
