Suprised? I'm not. Sony has been in bed with EA for more than a year now (at least since 2010 E3), and Microsoft's been throwing money at developers since they launched the 360. You could say that Sony needs this. However, one week of exclusivity isn't much compared to the 2 years MS had GTA IV's DLC locked down.

A week? That's not enough to bring the PS3 version more sales OR enough to give fanboys bragging rights. There's hardly any point at all, really. It's obviously just a move to say, "PS3 players, we won't shit on you like Activision do, buy BF3 instead of MW3!"

I really like how publishers spit out "timed exclusive" as if it's something that will make the game 2000% better. Don't gamers have just a little patience?
1 week I can live with that still it would be more logical to do this for the main platform of the game but 1 week isnt that much a delay for the other platforms
Even if I had a 360 this would be a PS3 purchase. The highlight of the Bad Company series is hearing a building coming down around your ears through a 7.1 system, and I expect it'll be the same for Battlefield 3.

@franky Wild well you can fake a mouse and keyboard as a dual shock 3 playing with mouse and keyboard for example and there are ps3 games that have native mouse and keyboard support. but yea I agree with the general idea

Getting this one and mw3 on ps3 for sure. Anyway non of my friends are using xbox anymore, they all switched to ps3. Even without this deal I would get the game on ps3.

BFBC2 sounds incredible on a quality 7.1 system.
IMO: Uncharted 2 is right up there in sound quality too.

I've been planning to get this on PS3 since I don't have a PC that can run it, but that being said I still don't like timed exclusives.
Considering I have a PC that will run the game at maximum settings, I'm going to have to go with...no version.

Just to get this straight. I've pre-ordered the game including the BtK DLC. Does this mean I still have to wait a week longer just to play it, or is this waiting period addressed to normal BF3 buyers?
