Yes, the wait has been quite long but now it's almost over. The Behemoth's BattleBlock Theater will be out on April 3, 2013. Hey, that's my birthday! You'll be able to pick up the game on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points, or $15 real world money. Also, bravo to The Behemoth for this wonderful trailer. I think it captures everyone's frustrations and joy over their game rather perfectly. Not much longer now! Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.

5:00 PM on 05.02.2013 Review: Zeno Clash III've found that it's a rather fruitless endeavour to guess which games will get a sequel -- mainly because I'm usually wrong. If you'd asked me "Fraser, will there be a Zeno Clash II?" I would have confidently responded with ...

You almost wouldn't guess that the game is currently emb...

11:00 AM on 04.03.2013 Review: BattleBlock Theater

After nearly five years of development time, BattleBlock Theater is finally here. Following the success of Castle Crashers, it would stand to reason that The Behemoth has some big shoes to fill, and for many, the suspense is killer. So I'll just cut to the chase here: it was worth the wait if you're a platforming fan.more

11:00 PM on 11.03.2011 BattleBlock Theater is all about being cool

BattleBlock Theater, by The Behemoth, has humor, murder, cuteness and now ice. A new video has just been released with some gameplay footage that introduces prisoner #10330 and the ice levels. While I would have liked some more voiced story trailers, this one shows off the game, so I suppose I'm okay with it. The real question here is, can that guy narrate my life?more
6:46 PM on 08.28.2011 Battleblock Theater is Battlebloody Brilliant

A hi-res, hand-drawn, downloadable game in which cute characters are imprisoned by maniacal cats who force them to act in lethal plays for their amusement. Sounds like a game from The Behemoth to me! I played Battleblock Theater at PAX this weekend and was so impressed I made sure it got a Destructoid Game of the Show nomination. It was just that much silly, outrageous, beautifully violent fun!more
