Batman tries to steal a PS3 in Hawaii photo

Sony is leading the market in absolutely insane and violent people that will stop at nothing to obtain their console (except of actually pay for it). The latest oddball crime comes from the lovely island of Kona, Hawaii where a man reportedly jumped out of his SUV and attempted to beat up two brothers with a baseball bat to no avail, then sped off in his batmobile while his license tags were noted. What an idiot. One guy's arm received massive damage but they got to keep their console. If they do manage to lock him up, it gives a whole new meaning to Play: B3yond doesn't it? Police investigate attempted PS3 theft

By Associated Press

KAILUA-KONA, Hawaii (AP) _ A man hit a 26-year-old with a baseball bat and demanded that he hand over his PlayStation 3 video game console.

Police say the attacker got out of his sport utility vehicle and hit the victim in the left arm with the bat.

The victim's 16-year-old brother was able to take the bat away from the attacker, who then returned to his S-U-V and drove away.

Big Island police say they are investigating the crime, and they have the vehicle's license plate number.

The victim complained of pain in his left arm but refused further treatment.

The PlayStation 3 costs between 499 dollars and 599 dollars and has been in short supply nationwide.

Common, batman would only steal for a good reason. Maybe he stole it for more needy kids in a homeless shelter.

Oh, wow.

But, wait, were they just walking around with a PS3 in their hands? Isn't that a bit unsafe?

I think it's funny that a 16-year-old managed to grab the bat off of the 26-year-old assailant. That's going to go over well in jail.

"So, you hit this kid w/ a bat? And you didn't get a PS3 out of the deal? Did you at least inflict massive damage?"

"No, his 16-year-old brother managed to wrangle the bat out of my hands before I could inflict massive damage."

"Looks like you dropped your soap there . . . ."

I bet these are all staged crimes by sony to try and increase demand for the PS3.

The victims and attackers are all actors being well paid for this.
