Here's a new trailer for Batman: Arkham City. The promotion has been so focused on the huge rogue's gallery that it's easy to forget Batman is actually in it, so this video is centered squarely on Bruce and his criminal-punching skills.
I love the way the game seems to flow, with Batman flapping around Gotham, dropping down to hit some idiots, and then flapping away again. It seems to work incredibly smoothly. Yeah, this one can't come quickly enough.

Meet the rest of the team
This looks awesome, but oddly enough, this is kind of the reason I've been less excited for this game. I prefer the more linear, focused levels of the original to a big sandbox.
All of the fights look painfully similar. Fly around for a while and then drop kick someone and fight. I haven't seen any stealth. The fights were just more interesting in the first one. Hopefully all of these trailers just represent a tiny part of the game.
While Mon Thunder has been a slice of comedy heaven recently and one of my favorite posters, I do wanna point out that the bonus content he mentioned is a retailer-exclusive preorder bonus for any console, not a 360 exclusive. Just clearing that up just in case anyone didn't know.
Wow, there's a lot of stuff wrong with this. The only playable characters (revealed so far) are Catwoman and, only if you preorder at Best Buy (not dependent on system at all), Robin. Catwoman's in the normal game for some sections, but Robin's only playable for the bonus missions outside of the main story, so he probably won't even matter to most players. The rest of your post just reads as nonsense.
This is by far my most anticipated game this year. After playing Arkham Asylum I got the sense that it was a flash in the pan, that it was an incredible fluke and couldn't be done again. So far, every bit of information I have devoured (and you had better believe I have hunted down every last morsel of knowledge available on this title, like a heroin addict, possessed by its dark lust, slave to its alluring tempo) only stokes the fires of my obsession that much higher.
I woke up this morning and it was October, and in 18 days, my soul will finally be made whole. Between now and then I am but a shell, a wraith, the shadow of a thing that could have been, but for the wanting.
Man, this game lois incredible. Taking the exploration of the first game to all new levels, especially when you imagine how awesome it will be to get a new gadget after a boss that allows you to access areas you might not have even noticed. Do many good games coming!
anyone else see a bunch of balloons hanging around the city? hmmmm.
i also assume in the city you just kinda move around and find/fight stuff and enter missions, i have a feeling the stealth wont be in the city itself but as parts of the missions. i really want to go back and play the other one again.
October 18 is going to be like Christmas morning for me. Actually I'm expecting it to be better than Christmas. I'm trying to talk the family into ditching Christmas this year, and celebrate Batman Day with me instead. We'll sit around the PS3 singing Bat-carols, and eating Bat-snacks. It'll be fuckin awesome!!
I've over spent. Deus Ex, Dead Island and now Dark Souls on pre-order means no more games for me until the new year. I'm sorry, Batman. I never meant to let you down.
@LittleBigD - Batman Day...well, why the fuck not? I'm in.
@Mon Thunder - Preventing murders is commendable. Keep up the good work :)
@Mon Thunder - That's so cool! I recommend donning a costume and going out to actually stop crime. The worst neighborhood in your city is a good place to start. Show those criminals what justice feels like!
@Blindfire: Your writing style reminds me of Tycho off Penny Arcade (I forget what his real name is. Jerry?). You clearly have some skill with a sentence.
@video: I like it. My only concern is being able to see where you're going while you swoop, dramatic as it is.
As a Batman fan this is starting to look les and less like Batman. It's cool he can glide but it seems a bit OTT, more like just cause. Please show some indoor 'dungeons' it's cool it's open world, just hope it's not a big open divebomb fest with no stealth. Also am I right there's no driveable Batmobile in an open world Bat game .
Just so people aren't mislead by Mon Thunder's babbling nonsense, Rocksteady has confirmed that this time around there is NO platform exclusive content.
There are also ZERO 360 vs PS3 comparisons for B:AC yet, so basically, Mon Thunder is just flat out lying to people because he's a fanboy.
In conclusion, get whatever version is most convenient for you because they're going to be damn near identical.

I actually misread the headline for hardcore fapping :P

I'll still buy it, Arkham asylum was the best.

HOLY BAT SHIT, BATDOOOOODS!!!
Bat-carols eh? Well no Batman day is complete without singing this classic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Veju4PxhuGc
Both versions have the same content. Stop trolling.
Has better graphics and cheaper than consoles and my pad works fine
