Batman: Arkham City map app is now available photo

If you're anything like me, you find yourself getting lost in Arkham City. It's huge! And there's too many people talking in the background -- it gets confusing.

I'm hoping this new Batman: Arkham City Map App will help. Bradygames worked with Rocksteady and Warner Bros. to create it, and it's now available now from Apple's App store. It features maps for every area in the game, locations of more than 350 collectibles, and an interactive collectible tracking system.

Alfred will be like, "Dude, where did you get that!?"

I'm guessing these aren't "integrated" like the dead island app wasn't? I wish we would see more stuff like Rockstar's social club, where the website would tell you which locations you have discovered, all missing locations, etc. Or they could just include them in the game, but whatever.

Outside nav is easy. It's nav inside of buildings that sucks.

If by "funny" you mean "makes and excellent point," then yes, he's hilarious. The Wii U'ss controllr will be perfect for a built-in map app like this.

I think something like this could happen for the Vita in the future.

Actually, the PSP can kind of do this... You just put separate JPG files on the memory stick and check them when you need to. Even easier on the Go, with the Suspend Game feature.

@bb3n

I'm right there with you. That game needs a map - That's my only gripe.

Too bad I've already found everything. This should've been released day one.

That's kind of neat but unnecessary. The secrets are easy to find once you learn to interrogate thugs.

If you search out the ones highlighted in green and save them for last while taking their buddies out, you get the option to interrogate them. Then Batman does stuff to make them talk. Ordinarily he'll just pick them up by their throats and scare the crap out of them, but he has environmental moves as well. So you can hang the guy off a ledge if you're close to one, or slam him into a wall. After he talks you'll have around half a dozen more secrets marked on your in-game map.

This is seriously one of my favorite parts of the game. Using a cheat sheet would only cheat you out of the fun.

Actually I think you get more than half a dozen for each at first. I have almost all of them now, so the number of secrets I get from each victi...I mean, thug is starting to taper off a bit.

$2.99 for this app on iDevices. For folks who like if an app is free or not.
