Batman Arkham Asylum PC gets price slash tomorrow photo

Steam, Schmeam. Games on Demand for Windows LIVE also offers promotional pricing for select premium games. For example, starting tomorrow and running until March 1st, you'll be able to pick up Batman: Arkham Asylum for 75% percent off its digital price.

According to Major Nelson-san, this is the start of something fun. A new game's price will be slashed each weekend in March. The game and the deal will be announced through Nelson's Twitter, which seems like a devilish way to net extra followers.

What does that make the price then? I have no clue if it's $50 or $60.

This is a great game. I got it during the Steam Christmas sale though, as part of the Eidos pack, so I paid probably like $6 for just this one game.

Batman looks like he just got a whiff of his own awful BO in that screenshot.

$12.5-$15 for Arkham Asylum. That's crazy good, even though I don't use Windows Live.

I also saw Steam and did quick mental maths that it'd be around 8 pounds (Spanish keyboard seems to have no pound sign) And then I saw the GFWL thing, and that it's probably US only and got far less excited, like Brannigan's Law (nice name by the way)

But yeah, I only have limited space on my windows partition, I'm not going to install something that's like steam for 1 game. I know nothing about GFWL to be fair, but I don't like making accounts for one thing, and prefer to keep as many games as possible in the same place.

To whoever thinks that this gives Steam the monopoly:
1) Some deals mentioned on the site lately have been d2d and GFWL only, not Steam...
2) I like having everything in the same place, being able to reinstall whenever I want and to not have to install multiple programs or create multiple accounts and stuff. I'm lazy and I underestimated how much usage my partition would get. Meh.

Thanks Brad for letting us know though.

Can u believe that, because I'm living in brasil, I'm not allowed to buy this????

YEAH! that's right: microsoft doesn't want me to honestly pay for my games. Games on demand doesn't work in Brasil yet. Instead, they want me to buy piracy.

I just can't believe I'm loosing this deal. I'm so pissed off....

FUCK YOU MICROSOFT!!!!!
