We can conjure several solid reasons to purchase the PAL and Europe-bound Batman Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Edition. Foremost is that the package will include some slick 3D glasses, or at least what appears to be slick HD glasses that will work with the edition's announced TriOviz 3D support. But the reduced price and six extra challenge maps aren't bad reasons either. Pick your fun, we suppose.
Hitting alongside the packshot of the package last afternoon is a fresh trailer full of all the old, memorable stuff you conquered earlier this year. If you've decided to stay away from Arkham Asylum for whatever reason you may want to give this one a quick glance. It gets the blood pumping.

Plus, red-green 3D is pretty awful...mind you, seeing as you spend 90% of the game in detective mode, you wouldn't really notice...
I might give it rent as I can't even bring myself to pay half price for an 8 hour game with all this extra shit.

I think it took me more than 8 hours but yeah its not particularly long.
It's a great game. If you can pay full price for Uncharted 2 you should definitely pay at least half price for this ;)
Besides any game longer than 8 hours would be 8 hours without the useless padding clutter. FACT
I just can't bring myself to buy a game without any online play. I just can't do it, unless it's something massive that will take me plenty of hours.
Case in point, after a hell of a lot of hours on Bad Company 2, I've not touched the campaign yet.
Heavy Rain is the only SP only game i own right now, and that's heading for the trade in list.
