People love to see sh*t blow up. Take, for instance, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which opens today. It’s a Michael Bay flick that’s currently sitting pretty at 21% on Rotten Tomatoes -- but reviews be damned, studio executives expect the film to rake in about $175 million through the weekend. Go figure.
So when you send a baseball screaming out of the yard in The Bigs 2, it’s going to do some damage. For proof, watch the trailer below the fold, which features lots of exploding lights à la The Natural. The video also shows off some scenes from the game’s career mode, which is looking like a pretty deep experience.

The fact that Transformers 2 could break Batman and Spider Man 2's record without any good actors in the movie, and an alleged budget of under $200m is insane. (Is a huge Transformers fan and will see the movie anyways when I get paid).
Minutemade Park is by far the most entertaining ball field! I loved seeing the homer clank of the train!!!! Makes me want to play this! My wife even popped off and said that she would want to play it if the Astros field is in it. :)
@Junpei Ace Defective: Fuck no! I'm a die-hard Yankee fan -- but I took a bunch of screencaps from the trailer, and this was the one that came out the best.
I'm definitely going to have to pick this up. This will be the first sports game I've bought since...ever. I played the hell out of my friend's copy of the Bigs on the 360.
Hopefully the Wii version of the sequel will be as good.

Trailer looks awesome...I'm not a fan of sports games but something about homerun derby in Times Square makes me want to buy my first sports game.
