I not only like Silver, but Sonic 2k6 would have been fucking fantastic without the glitches.... and human princess kissing blue hedgehog...
If that's the worst thing about this game then I'm willing to get excited. It doesn't matter who the character is, it's just going to serve as a boss battle where you race him. Still excited

Well while the game Silver may come from suck, there are two things that should make you feel better: 1. A good level from a shitty game is being remade in a good game. 2. His only purpose in game is that you kick the crap out of him
It doesn't surprise me. Classic gets Metal Sonic, Dreamcast gets Shadow, and Silver is the closest thing available to a Modern 'rival'...except maybe Blaze, but I guess this game isn't counting the Sonic Rush series for some reason.

Wow, I can't believe a game that's supposed to be a collection of elements of every generation of Sonic's existence contains elements from every generation of Sonic's existence.
Who cares, as far as I can see this is just an opportunity to beat Silver up, since he only appears as an enemy.

This is nothing to whine about. You don't play as the character, he is a boss and you PUMMEL HIM. surely that's a good thing if you hate the character so much? Personally i thought he was a good character, from a shit game.

I always found Silvers design to be too dev art-ish for my liking. That said you're over-reacting a bit, he's just a mini-boss. And this game is about Sonics twenty year history, not just the four years you liked Sonic in the 90's. Deal with it missy.

Before anyone asks, greenmangaming has a preorder for the PC version for 15% off, then another 20% off coupon active until Monday, knocking it to $20.36. I just had $10 in credit there.
