Banjo-Kazooie is coming to XBLA this Wednesday, can you dig it? photo
     Xbox Live Arcade

Anyone who pre-ordered Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts already got early access to the Xbox LIVE Arcade port of the original Nintendo 64 classic Banjo-Kazooie, but for the rest of us, it's finally going to be made available starting on Wednesday.

Admittedly, the price of admission (1200 Microsoft Points) is kind of high for Banjo-Kazooie, but if for whatever reason you missed out on the platformer/collectathon back in the day, I'd urge you to not pass this opportunity up.

From what I hear, it's supposed to be a decent XBLA port (for once), so that should be reason enough for fans to give the game another once-over. And for those who aren't thinking of trying Banjo-Kazooie, Chad and I are going to come over to your house and harass you into playing it. No, seriously.

Banjo-Kazooie is not worth free or the effort it took for you to get it free. Gamestop got the better deal they got rid of one more useless code.

Pre-ordered Nuts & Bolts, got this, beat it 100%, and loved every second of it. It was a great trip down memory lane, even if it was easier this time around.

Great port, possibly better than the original when I think back to the short draw distances and such. Can't wait for Banjo-Tooie, as I never got to play it as a kid.

Oh "chronoswing" and destructoid how I love you.

You make my hours at work doing nothing when I should be work Just so much more enjoyable with your rambunkious comments and blind following of certain gammes.

I do not even get this happy when I watch a bad teen comedy films or make fun of how bad the Resident evil games are in large groups during there demos at game events to watch the demo staff and fanboys squirm.

And that was a lot of fun until gizmodo out classed us by turning off the demo TVS damn you gizmodo for your brilliance.

I love Banjo-Kazooie, so many good memories! Absolute Classic! Seeing as all my N64 controllers suffer from intensive "Mario Party Syndrome" I might have to get this so I can play again!

PS: And cube, seriously man, I think people would take you much more seriously if you took the time to write coherent sentences in your posts. Just a thought.

Damnit. If I wasn't busy getting to level 80 *shakes fist at WoW* I would've pre-ordered Nuts&Bolts and gotten this for free! Now I gotta spend $15 and try to free up space on my bursting-at-the-seams 20gb HDD >_< Totally worth it though. One of my favorite childhood/teenhood games.

Oh and cube, a Master Troll knows how to ellicit his desired reactions withought seeming like a two-bit raging child. Just sayin'.
