Why remake this and not the Sunsoft one? Isn't that one far more well known and loved, not to mention being one of the first Batman games as well? Oh well, I'm sure this is good and I'll probably end up trying it.

I think the point is not that this game is "Batman", but that it's one of the best isometric games on the Speccy. It's the direct anscestor to Head over Heels which also has a great remake.
I had a Batman game involving the Riddler for Snes. That may have been my very first gaming rage moment.
Since I'm American and never had a ZX Spectrum, I just played the ZX version for the first time and holy crap. I really need to remember how to play these classic isometric platformers.
I'm a bit of a Batman fan. I think I'll at least be giving this a quick look.

Playing the ZX Spectrum version is better because the pixels help you see the distance a lot easier. This remake honestly makes the game harder.

I've never even heard of the ZX Spectrum, but had the Commodore 64 version as a kid. That was pretty awesome for its time.

I still own the Amstrad CPC 464 version. I think the one after this was The Caped Crusader, with a Joker "episode" on Side A and a Penguin "episode" on Side B of a cassette. God, I feel old!

The SNES game based on Batman TAS made by Konami was made of win. It had great graphics and music from the show and it was HARD.
