Greatest events in WoW had nothing to do with Blizzard's silly story. Like the plague situation or every time someone tried to kite stuff into cities. And pretty much all the PVP, that people just played for fun.
Self-made stories = crap stories that developers force on you. One reason why WoW went downhill, too much focus on Blizzard's story and not the player's.

I'm glad Blizzard takes the time and effort to craft a story that goes along with the content they create rather than simply throw in some new bosses and monsters to kill with little to no explanation. The story isn't mandatory to enjoy the game (Blizzard doesn't force you to give a shit as to why you're doing what you're doing) but it definitely enriches the experience. Wish more game makers dedicated time to developing plot and stories to go along with the pretty graphics.
Haters gonna hate, I'm still having fun with WoW. This looks great. Thrall's a fucking badass. Horde rules, Alliance drools.

You know, the "Wasting life on X" is getting old. It's not a waste of life if the person is enjoying the thing. Maybe even making friends while at it. Just because YOU don't like the game (even if you hadn't tried it), doesn't mean it wastes the life of everyone who plays it. And for your information, the game has 11.4 million subscribers, so yes, people still play it.

The trailer looks great, I'm hyped, and I bet that the old folks that defeated the fire-lord the first time are hyped too!

I used to play WoW, but money got tight and frankly, I was sick of the devs parading the Horde around as the best thing since sliced bread, which pissed me off. This was icing on the cake for my cancellation. I'm really, REALLY sick of Thrall.
I dont play anymore, but I still like the yarn they're spinning over at Blizzard and I still love their cinematics/trailers.

I don't hate WoW, its just not my cup of tea, and I'm very pick about what kind of tea costs me a monthly subscription.
I'm confused why Blizzard keeps bringing back old bosses. I'm actually curious how long till we see Nefarian and C'thun return later on.

Pretty cool! I'm just about to jump back into this, probably this weekend, after taking a few years off! Do expansions come with gametime now a days? or do I have to pay for the sub and the exp?
i been playing WoW on and off for 4yrs or so? this game gets boring to me very quickly, which resulted in me quitting at least 10 times in that time span. WoW turned into an easy mode game when they introduced badge rewards back in BC and also allowed noobs to have access to some dungeons/raids without having to get keyed for them first. i recently was playing, i played when cata came out and my time card ran out last week, but before that i was barely even playing anymore (boring). and i don't see me buying a new time card!

Cool video and interesting stuff. Still, even though the artwork is amazing, am I the only one who thinks the graphics engine is becoming -noticeably- dated? I mean, they've done a lot to keep it going, but it has been nearly 7 years....
