Creat Studios is bringing highly-adorable mushroom conflict to the PlayStation Network this week with Mushroom Wars, a new down-and-dirty real-time strategy game designed to be easy to get into and downright quick to play.

While some of my enthusiasm for the game likely stems from my unholy desire for there to be a Pikmin 3, or even a miniature Pikmin game in this same visual style, the trailer for Mushroom Wars looks pretty nice.

At $9.99, I guess you can only expect so much. We'll have to see how it handles when the game launches on Thursday

Aww, I saw the title and thought it was the Mushroom Men game that came to Wii and DS ported to PS3 or something... :(

I have Wii and DS but I'd rather play it on PS3.
