Crisis Averted, you say? Well, there's another one. Get to it.
In the upcoming Nintendo DS game Emergency: Disaster Squad, you'll play as a Rescue Unit Chief, running around to fix traffic accidents, natural disasters, expolsions and more. You'll take command of firefighters, police officers and paramedics, and several other units, working to respond to over 20 different types of catastrophes.
From the looks of the screenshots in our gallery, Emergency has a kind of Sim thing going on. But with little pixelated bodies lying around everywhere, this one seems quite a bit more morbid.
Emergency: Disaster Squad looks pretty interesting. It's currently scheduled for a Spring release.

I'll be checking it out when (and if ) it comes out in Europe :-)
Emergency is actually a pretty old game for the pc, with the same graphics too.
It was pretty fun, but one part just pissed me off.
There is one level where you have to safe someone out of the forest with a helicopter and get him into a ambulance, the only part where you could land the helicopter and get him into the ambulance is on a nearby highway, and the highway drivers just run over everything!
I've tried using police to block off the road and give turn around signs, but they just got ran over.
