The Mexican gaming community ain't one to be f**ked with. This latest tale is a prime example of just that. Question for you World of Warcraft players: Have you ever wanted to beat the living crap out of an annoying griefer? Don't you wish that one day you could just take a baseball bat to the face of that fat slob who has nothing better to do than take his level 60 character and piss all over your up-and-comer? Well, it may be time to watch how far you take things:

Mexico City, Mexico-(MH)-Mexican World of Warcraft player Bronco Carson reported to local police on Saturday that 3 men broke into his home and beat his arms with clubs and smashed his computer. It was supposedly in retaliation for Carson stalking and repeatedly killing one of the attackers wife’s character during computer video game play.

Carson admitted to police that he had been “making it hard for her to get far in the game.” He said that after repeated online threats from the woman, she sent her husband and friends over to his house to “take care of him.”

We need more of this, seriously. I only wish I could have been there to watch the beating. It must have been glorious.

[Thanks, Wheat]

Look How did they get internet? No seriously is this like a actual world of warcraft or did they rob a store for the cards and had like a world of warcraft table top play? Just Joking.

I call Shenanigans on this story, in all honesty I don't support violence like this. It only fuels the Jack Thompsons of the world. But yeah, man there is just to man horrible jokes that can be made here.

You see, this is how you take care of business, you throw some doing racist remarks, insulting moms and being a complete a-hole, we Mexicans dont believe in lawsuits and crap, we simply show up in your living room armed with a machete a large moutache and a grin. >;-)

Evil aside, this sounds kind of BS first of all there just arent that many WOW players here in Mexico, (my "local" Halo buds live in different states per instance), so is quite unlikely two WOW players just happen to live near each other and actually know their addresses. This has all the features of an urbal legend, is something that could have happened, but actually never has. and by the way

VIVA MEXICO CABRONES

Also pitos.

I am all for beating someone senseless when they are asking for it, and in mexico city where shit is really fucked up the guy should have known better. . . But gaming in mexico is a pain in the ass for the most part so i can see why mexican gamers are a rough bunch. 1. We dont get gametap X( 2. Games cost like 50% more. (75 bucks for paper mario FTL) 3. Consoles are crazy priced (450 bucks for a 360 pro, 500 for a wii, 300 for a DS lite, 1200 for a ps3 !?!?!?) Release Dates are all over the place (gotten a bit better, still no guitar hero 2 axe by themselves or puzzle quest >_<) And coupled with high internet costs and lack of quality service porviders and you get a bunch of sore gamers almost instantly. (dont get me started on how hard it is to get ms gamer points if your live account is from outside the county)

Also the shit that happens in mexico city is in no way indicative of how things are really in mexico. Every state and city is wildy different. I live in San Luis Potosi which is by far one of the prettiest cities in the world also quite peaceful, havent found many gamers here though but i work a fuckton. So. . . Tambien Vergas

Tomfoolery everywhere. That guy's wife should have lvled up on a different server as asshats will try to kill you all the time. It's just a fact. The beaten idiot probably wanted it because he gave out his address. Dumb ass...

Maybe the crybaby should have reported him to a GM or gone to a carebear server if she's going to get so butthurt over WoW. Jesus, it's a freaking game.

The cronolink: I have the feeling you are an extraterrestrial, time traveling, scientologist, and that avatar has just confirmed it as well.

p.s.

COME ON PEOPLE! These news is completely Bogus! theres no one called "Bronco Denver" in Mexico, thats the name of a football team!

Plus.. theres no news of any of this in Mexican radio or tv did you knew that? (and they love throwing crap at videogames just like all media)

Nothing to see here people, move along.

Correction "Bronco Carson" whatever, is a made up name guys, "Bronco" is not a Mexican name (we did have a musical group with that name) and definetily "CARSON" is not a Mexican last name.

Wow, a simple, non-sarcastic comment devoid of any reference to your career, religion or avatar and you went pissed off. I must be doing something right. =P
