It feels strange to say it, but it's true: Barkley 2 is one of my most anticipated games right now. Just re-reading this description from Tales of Game's rekindles my excitement: "The year is 666X. A powerful youngster, wise beyond his years, awakens from a B-Ball induced coma aboard the mysterious dwarf space ziggurat Necron 7, held captive by the Malevolent A.I. Cuchulainn. With no memory of who he is or where he came from, he adopts the identity of X114JAM9 and sets off into the Post-Cyberpocalyptic Wasteland in search of the enigmatic Cyberdwarf, the only one who can reveal to him the terrible truth behind his forgotten past and make sense of his harrowing future."
But walls of summary text -- even those written in such a delightfully odd manner -- can only get you so far. Enter this fresh gameplay footage from a pre-alpha version of the Windows, Mac, and Linux game. Yep -- still super excited in just about every way. Barkley 2 will be at PAX Prime as part of the Indie Megabooth at booth #867, so go say "hi." (Or some inside joke that the developers are probably tired of hearing brought up.)
