Congratulations to everyone at G4 for their 1,000th episode of Attack of the Show. They celebrated 1,000 shows this past Thursday by looking back at all of the memorable moments from the show's history. Check out the G4TV Web site for clips of Kevin's first appearance on G4, that episode where Olivia jumped into a giant pie, the return of Sarah Lane to many more clips.

AotS also celebrated the special day by debuting a music video starring Olivia Munn and Kevin Pereira. The song is called “Video Game Girl” and is performed by Nerf Herder frontman Parry Gripp The music video is a blatant ad for GameStops, but it’s not bad! Olivia stars as that rare female GameStop employee and Kevin is rocking out on the drums.

Hit the break to check it out.

Tom Greene took that trashing thing way too far.

The only female Gamestop employee I ever saw was a middle aged, overweight woman who looked kind of like Jim Sterling actually...hey wait...

I really don't see what's so great about working at Gamestop.I also don't see what's so amazing about girls that play video games either.

Granted my best friend worked at Gamestop and she had pretty bad experiances there. Like one time she saw her manager having sex in the back with some girl. I guess that's just a normal day at Gamestop :D!

AotS makes me want to cut off my fingers and spray blood all over the TV so I don't have to see that crap anymore.

Or just change the channel.

Attack of the show? Really? Do we have to celebrate this of all shows? Just because it has to do with video games, if only a little bit, should we care?

Saw this the other day, song is decent and I love that Munn is wearing 3" heels for her shift at Gamestop because of course that makes sense, but its normal for a music video I guess.

Regardless of your feelings toward AOTS, it's really cool they've made it to 1000 shows. I just wish we'd see more of the older crew like Zack Selwin and Will O'Niel. And that was pretty crappy what they did to Layla Keighley.

This sucks. I thought you were joking when you said this was a blatant ad for GameStop, sadly I was wrong.

There are video game stores other than gamestop?

I thought it was a pretty good song.

No girls working at my local game stores... which is probably why I get asked what games my son might be interested in. When I say I have no children... they usually proceed to smile brightly and make room for the other foot in their mouth by asking what games my husband likes.
... at that point I'm usually dying to ask them if they have Wii-fit in stock... but I refrain and instead just say I know which game I want and start talking enthusiastically about gaming (because what gamer can pass up that opportunity).

Besides... it's good for them to realize that a mature woman with bifocals and few steaks of gray in her hair can like FPS games! :)

They celebrate 1000 shows by focusing on Munn and her hideous skirt collection. When will she realize that she'll never be in a big budget movie? And the Tom Green bit wasn't staged./....nope....not at all.....just like Borat wasn't staged.

Olivia Munn is a cockteasing bitch, and "Attack of the Show" is a stupid name.

That is all.

At the store I work at, we have four gals, including me! And most of the other Gamestops in my area have at least 2 or more female employees, so I don't think we're THAT rare, but whether they're really into gaming or not is another question. Great video and great song, it made me smile! Now if only my could use my charm to convince customers to subscribe to GI as easily as Olivia did....

Even though it is SUPER COOL to hate G4 and Attack of the Show, I find the channel and show to be pretty amusing. I know that neither is a gaming-only outlet and could use some improvement, but why must we shit on that which at least somewhat acknowledges us? In the scheme of things, G4 isn't bad compared to such shit channels as MTV, TLC, VH1, and many others. Even if only two hours per day of G4 is worth watching, that's two more hours than many other channels have to offer.

And while I'm getting it all out there, Olivia Munn is attractive and amusing, while Kevin manages to be non-annoying and pretty cool while not seeming to be a fake nerd who is not genuinely into the nerdy things that they cover on the show. I like both of them. So....there. Yeah.

Late comment is Late, buuuuuuut...

Something replacing a better something is not a reason to shit on it. It doesn't have to be better than TechTV, it just has to be good. I think it's better to have G4 than to not have G4 at all. Whether TechTV would be better doesn't really matter.

The show is OK. It has it's value.

Plus, come on guys, Olivia acts like a slut half the time.
