On Atlus' official forums, they were having fans guess what their upcoming title announcement was. Too bad Play-Asia had to go and ruin things.
Play-Asia just listed a new title called Eternal Poison. This will be the US name for Poison Pink, a stylized strategy RPG from the makes of Summon Night. If you'd like to see more of what Eternal Poison will look like, take a peek at some of the images from the Japanese Poison Pink Web page.
From this same leak we learn that Eternal Poison will also come with a soundtrack CD, and that we can expect a November 28th release date. Looking at Play-Asia's pricing, I'd gues it's safe to assume a launch price of $39.99.
I'm already looking forward to getting my hands on this. What about you?

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I may be in the minority, but I'm sick to death of the PS2's poor connection to my HDTV and dated, wired controller.
Two weeks before Persona 4?
Atlus, we know the PS2 won't live to see 2009...but this is game 4 I've now pre-ordered to come out Oct-Dec.
All I'm saying is...I need to buy Christmas presents for other people too.
I'm day one-ing this because I have a sick addiction to SRPGs and know I won't be able to stop myself from buying this, even with Persona 4 coming out right afterwards.
I realize Atlus doesn't have any say in the matter and I'm glad they bring over the titles that they do. I'm just expressing my desire to play these beautiful games on something other than my PS2 -- I don't expect it to actually happen.
Thank God they are changing the name for the US release, but I would have loved to have seen actual gameplay screens from in that trailer. I *thought* I saw like 3 flashes of gameplay kinda of opaque in the background but it went by so fast....
Thanks Atlus!!
viva PLAYSTATION 2!
Perhaps if they removed the 10 second white screen delay it wouldn't be so bad but that just looks like its going to ruin the whole battle flow.
Bad points: Retch-inducing 3-D models. :O(
