Atlus to publish DS RPG Steel Princess photo

Thanks to an ESRB ratings leak, we know that Atlus has picked up the rights to Steel Princess, a DS RPG that Siliconera calls a spiritual successor to Climax's classic, Landstalker. We're sold already! The title was previously announced for Europe, but now we can relax knowing it's also coming our way.

The Famitsu scans (in our gallery) show a pretty cute looking game, but the only similarity I see between this and Landstalker is the viewpoint. In this isometric goodness, you'll play as the Steel Princess, working to steal back treasure taken by the Devil King.

I'm expecting good things, as this title comes from the creators of not only Landstalkers, but the Shining Force games. We're looking forward to more details, as well as an official announcement by Atlus.

You can't use the words "spiritual successor to Landstalker" unless the enemies go WOW! SQUAAACK when you hit 'em.
