Sony's social media manager and inventor of the baked bean Jeff Rubenstein caught up with Atlus' main PR guy Aram Jabbari to chat about Demon's Souls. The cheeky pair discuss the game's difficulty, the implementation of online play, and the changes made to the game in the transition from Japan to America.
However, none of those things are as interesting as the one important detail I noticed with this video. At the 15 second mark, when Jabbari is invited to speak, you'll notice that he starts his speech with a stealthy impersonation of Scooby Doo. He probably thought he could sneak it by the censors, but this is JOURNALISM, God damn it, and we'll be damned if we don't bring these important facts to your attention.
Atlus is your one-stop shop for obscure Japanese games and cartoon dog impressions. God bless that company.

Don't you mean Shaggy? Jim Sterling, you putz. Give me a freakin' break. His voice cracks for like less than half a second. Is there any way to turn you OFF on Destructoid?
Also, is it just me, or were there any other Demon's Souls vets who were watching the screen behind them going OH NOES YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG BACKSTAB BACKSTAB NOOOO
Come on, give the guy a break. He probabaly hit puberty just as the interview began.
It's kinda funny though, I can't help but get the impression that, throughout the rest of the interview, he was actually forcing himself not to squeak again.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
CRAAAAAP.
Yep, it's called "not reading my posts" you ... putz.
Seriously, you used putz?
this is the most journalismic post ever journalism'd.
It's kinda funny though, I can't help but get the impression that, throughout the rest of the interview, he was actually forcing himself not to squeak again.
I find it unbelievable that he's been doing Shaggy for almost 40 years. Wowsers!
