The above text and a lot more of some really bright yellow is all you'll see at this new Atlus teaser site. Given the stylish angle, font, and use of the letter "p", I'd put money down that it's in some way related to Persona 4.
But what could it be? There's already a Persona 4 TV anime series coming out this fall. If I were to conjecture, it'd be an announcement of a PSP (or perhaps PS Vita) port of the PlayStation 2 classic. Atlus have already danced the enhanced-rerelease dance with the original Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, and Persona 3, so doing Persona 4 (and the Eternal Punishment half of Persona 2) would bring things full circle.
What's your theory?

It's P4 yellow and P4 is already getting an anime so all that's left is a game
would seriously be such a better game if it wasnt a dungeon crawler i couldnt finish Persona 2 or 3 cuz they were just so freaking boring to play aside from the "dating sim" and monster creating components
PS I would give almost anything for Persona 5 on PS3. Oh dear lord would I...

It's been a pretty good night so far for JRPG fans, first Black Rock Shooter and now this!
If they cant bother to make a new one in this entire gen then they dont get my money
Now, make Kanji a possible love interest for the protagonist, that's the only thing that was not perfect about that game.
But when the milk is of such high quality, why complain? ;)
After all, they did the same with P3. Then P3Fes. Then P3P. And all those releases of the same game are worth it.
And if it's how I think it will be, a P4P game could hold a hint about their next move. (Remember how Vincent from Catherine made a cameo in P3P?)
Still I must say: Hey, Atlus, get some work done on P5!
It's probably gonna come out at the end of this gen, like P3 and P4 did, but I hope they don't wait too long...
I'm a Shin Megami Tensei fan (currently enjoying devil summoner 2 overclocked!), but fucking Persona....It's a chore to play. The best one is obiviously 4. So if its P4P, for either 3DS or Vita, I'll bite and buy it.
If it's anything else, fuck it.
I got P1 and its full soundtrack (and preordered P4 with its artbook and half-soundtrack, and scrounged up a very nice P3 with case, artbook, and soundtrack), but kept from P3P (Junpei's not a character I'd cosplay, especially since I don't like baseball caps, preferring my boonie/fishin'/bucket hat) and will hold out on P2 (if it was more than a soundtrack selection, then I prolly would).
However, I'm gonna be getting a Vita (how can I resist?), so I'd like to have any games from this point out digitally...unless the pre-order incentives are beyond resistance. Hence why I have Lunar, the Yses, and Trails in the Sky.
*sigh* When will I actually PLAY these games? I haven't touched P4, since I'm still in the midst of P3FES...for the past year or two (if only the PS3 had backwards compatibility, I may more easily boot it up), and most recently left off Brave Story: New Traveler, as handheld RPGing goes (thanks, XSEED, for the heads-up on it getting pulled from PSN!).
A) Persona 4 Portable
B) A Persona 4 cellphone game (Persona 3 had one too after Atlus fused with Index)
C) A direct sequel to Persona 4
It could be any of them, but the first one is the most likely. I'd laugh if it was just a cellphone game though. A direct sequel would be interesting, but it isn't needed honestly. I'm kinda mad about this since I just about Persona 4 about 4 months ago, but even then I don't think I would be able to pass up a portable version.
Also anyone hoping that this is a Persona 5 may as well stop hoping, I really doubt it is. Persona 5 is definitely coming though, like Catherine Atlus just doesn't want to talk about it yet.
If not Id say Persona FEs or some variant of that
