Atlus drops the trauma with new Trauma Team video photo

Even though we've seen very little of Trauma Team so far, I'm still excited about it. When Colette and I met with Atlus at E3, I was able to chat with them a bit about what to expect. All they did is tease. I don't think they knew, but they were just excited as I am.

Trauma Team now lets you explore six fields of medicine. You can be a general surgeon, diagnostician, E.M.T., orthopedic surgeon, endoscope technician, or a medical examiner. You'll see a hint of each of these in the trailer below the jump. And there's that damned I-beam again! The game seems much more dramatic and serious than the last series games, doesn't it? That's totally fine by me.

Atlus says to expect Trauma Team in the spring of 2010.

If it's Trauma Center and it's on the Wii, I'm excited. It's like a rule with me.

Also, do you know how epic this'd be with some kind of MotionPlus thing?

"Split second reaction"

I do have that, but the reaction I'll have toward the patients will likely not be ones that will save them...a lot of patients will end up dying with me in control. :[

@Bigmoose85

I am all over a Dr. House game as long it is not utter shit and has also enigmatic problems a-la Phoenix Wright. Maybe WayForward could do it right. But nah, I want WayForward to make more of their independent works.

Does anyone else think that the second character from the left here is an exact ripoff of Spike Spiegel, down to the bent cigarette?

This game seems to be taking the ridiculousness of Trauma Center and cranking it up to 11.

I'm kind of interested with the different fields even though I didn't like how unstable the previous Wii games. Love the DS ones though.

Sure, he is a bit Spikesque, but this is a japanese game. Shigenori Soejima's art for these games, is similar in style to Kazuma Keneko's (Persona 1 and 2 etc) and Toshihiro Kawamoto (would did Bebops art.

Shigenori Soejima also did the art for Persona 3 and 4.

Damn, I want this game, but I have no Wii.

I don't think Trauma Team can manage anything more ridiculous than shooting at giant sentient viruses with a surgical laser.

I'm really excited for this I've been waiting to try this series out for a long time but have been wondering which title to pick. Looks like my minds made up now.

I like the artist for this and Persona, but man, does he draw some long necks.

But yeah, excited anyway!

This is cool, but what I don't understand is why Atlus don't launch a third DS version at the same time, with two player options?

I have the first and second games, but come on guys, this game is still better on DS, IMO.
