Atlus announces Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time for PSP photo

While we were out Atlus officially announced Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time for PSP. This is a remake of the Japan-only RPG Growlanser IV: Over Reloaded, now coming to us for the first time with new characters and events. Also look for better load times and a message skip option.

Atlus says to expect this 40+ hour RPG on PSP some time in summer 2012, availabvle in both digital and UMD format. We have some new screenshots in our gallery below, some with shiny anime boobs.

I'll definitely be dumping the digital version to my PS Vita this summer. You?

I just love Satoshi Urushihara's artwork.
It gives me such a lovely feeling, if you know what I mean >_>

The character design for these games is just awful, outdated, and sexist. I don't know why no one can talk about the series without tripping over themselves in order to praise the ghastly-looking characters.

Buying it physical. Especially if there is a limited edition of some sorts. GIMME ART BOOKS :D

PrinceHeir
definitely physical :P

it's a shame not everything is voiced, some of it outside the main scenarios is unvoiced due localization issues etc.

all in all im just glad we have this game along with Gugnir!!!!!!

Funny, but this late in the PSP's life, I'd much rather run across a digital copy at a good price than the physical, mirroring Dale's thoughts. But Stealth, Ramminchuck, and PrinceHeir are right: once Amazon puts it at a great price, I'm likely not even going to consider twice the purchase!

Atlus, you shine with RPG love. It's nice to see such solid localizations, even in the twilight of the PSP's lifespan.

Well, whats not to like about a RPG with the artwork from one of the best known hentai artist (or boob artist, would be more fitting) of japan? :D

I have my copy pre-ordered. Will buy a 2nd if there's a limited edition. I'm so excited! Growlanser Generations (2 & 3) are two the best SRPGs I have ever played, aside from the Shining Force series. I hope this one sells well enough to convince Atlus to localize the PSP version of Growlanser I (even if it has to be PSN only I'll take it!).
