Atlus announces Trauma Team for the Wii photo

Oh man. E3 isn't even here yet and the great announcements are already starting to roll in. As if XSEED's announcement that Fragile would be getting a US release yesterday wasn't enough excitement to blow my brain to smithereens, today Atlus announces a new entry in the Trauma Center series: Trauma Team for the Nintendo Wii!

The unique thing about Trauma Team is that it allows you to play as one of six characters: a general surgeon, diagnostician, E.M.T., orthopedic surgeon, endoscope technician, or a medical examiner. It looks like this could be the biggest Trauma Center title yet, which is a total thrill for me since I'm a huge fan of this series. It's slated to come out in spring 2010 -- you gonna pick this one up?

E3 2009: ATLUS UNVEILS TRAUMA TEAM™ FOR Wii™

Mmmm, this sounds and looks tasty. I just hope they don't make it ridiculously hard like New Blood.

This looks amazing. I'm loving all this news. I feel like my head is going to explode once E3 actually starts.

Not a huge fan of the TC for the WIi, the DS version are way more stable.

And red eyes doctor is evil, calling it right now.

Wow I'm loving the news today. I'm probably going to sell Trauma Centre, No More Heroes and Metroid Prime 3 to make way for these newer versions! (I'll do the same to Twilight Princess if a new Zelda is coming anytime soon)

Great news. Its just unfortunate I don't have a Wii, so its another part of the series I'm going to miss. This will be the third Wii game I've missed.

Good one Atlus, but I still think the DS needs to see this game too, with wifi and online co-op. Atlus, you should also consider iPhone, where there's new potential for customers.

It looks like they ran out of different eye colors for the doctors, and so they gave the last one "closed eye" syndrome.

Also, I can tell the personalities of these characters by that one bit of art work. Anime stereotypes...so easy to read.

Yeah definitely TC FTW! This is excellent. I really enjoyed the hell out of New Blood so this is a welcome addition to the series.
