Atelier Shallie announced for PS3 photo

The next in the Atelier series, Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea, was announced at Game no Dengeki Kanshasai. It's coming to the PS3 in Japan on June 26.

Japanator has the first details. The game is set 4 years after Escha and Logy, and also follows two main characters, Shallistera and Shallote Elminus. Both of the main characters will have separate stories, just like Escha & Logy. It seems some old characters will be making appearances in their story.

For combat, Shallie will feature a 360 degree rotatable camera in addition to the alchemy system from its series predecessor.

I've just settled in with Escha & Logy this week!

If you want to get a better look at what's next for the series, check out the new scans at Japanator.

So it's more Atelier Shallie footage you want

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea releases in Japan next week, and Gust has seen fit to provide another glimpse of the PS3 role-player prior to the July 17 launch. It looks and sounds just lovely. The music, in particular, tugs at my heartstrings. I'm a sucker for a soulful Celtic refrain. Now if we could only get confirmation of a western release. That would be just swell.more

First look at Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea in action

Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea is the sixteenth installment in Gust's longstanding RPG series, and, by the looks of things, it's shaping up quite nicely. Don't believe me? Go on and take a look at the title's debut trailer if you haven't already. Yeah, this game is absolutely gorgeous.  It's launching on July 17 in Japan and will hopefully come to western shores soon after.more

Persona Q coming November 25, let's loop the opening until then

Persona Q, the chibi 3DS amalgam of Persona 3 and Persona 4 characters, has a North American release date: November 25. The opening is still amazing. The premium edition is pretty nice, too. Shadow of the Labyrinth has won me over since its announcement -- or maybe it's just the dearth of Persona -- so I'm pretty ready.more

Splatoon might be getting a lot of hype for Wii U squid battling, but it is not the first game featuring a squid squad to grace the console. Earlier this year, Squids made its jump from iOS to the Wii U with Squids Odyssey, a...more
