The Kore Gang, a game that started life on the original Xbox and then later resurfaced on the Wii, is finally seeing a release in North America soon.
The Wii action platformer is being published by Atari, and is set for an October 4 retail release. The Kore Gang follows the adventures of three "kooky crackpots" who use cybernetic , ability-enhancing suits to stop some other crackpots from taking over the world.
Game's kind of got a cool art style, so color me interested. Also, it's like the Duke Nukem Forever of third-person platformers or something, except probably not as profane. The title was released in Europe over a year ago.
I'll get it. This game got some good scores in European territories.
I remember when this was supposed to be an original Xbox game; this game got trailers around the same time as Malice, which was also supposed to be an Xbox exclusive at one point.
It's a shame this game got canned on Xbox, then the Wii version has been delayed time and time again, as it's supposed to be somewhat good.
I hope it actually comes out in October. We'll see, but I'm certainly not holding my breath. You sure can't beat $19.99.
And action platformer that actually looks like it is of high quality? Count me in. ANYTHING to break the tedious onslaught of first person shooters flooding the market. Plus, I love action platformers.
This was a pleasant surprise, I'd forgotten about this game. Aside from Super Mario 3D Land, their really aren't any new 3D platformers coming out so I'll take what I can get.
On topic of xbox exclusives that vanished whatever happened to The City of Metronome, that game looked so freaking good. I think it could have became one of my favorite games of this gen if done right.
HOLY CRAP. I REMEMBER HEARING ABOUT THIS GAME AGES AGO AND WONDERING WTF HAPPENED! I was so intrigued! GOOD TO KNOW IT'S NOT FUCKING DEAD AND GONE! YAY!
