While I'm pretty sure most of you who have the ability to do so have already purchased Castle Crashers, the rest of you dangerous loners living on the edge ought to take note: good for today only, the game's price has been slashed from $15 down to a fair $7.
Castle Crashes was probably the last beat-'em-up I enjoyed, quite simply because little numbers signifying experience points are just enough motivation for me to push through a genre I have grown to dislike. There are only a special few I can go back and fully play through these days, and even then, nostalgia is a huge helping factor.

Castle Crashers at 560MP - ALSO SOLD.
I played my friend's copy every time I would go over to his place. I was not a fan of the $15 price tag (or the network issues before the patches), but for $7 NOW it was a no-brainer. Played it today, and it is a charming time sink.
I must MS has done pretty well with these "one day" sales - and we still have tomorrow's deal to finish 2009 off. Here is hoping they do this again in 2010.
