Third game, three hefty collector's editions! Ubisoft has officially announced a trio of special Assassin's Creed III packages bound for Europe: the Freedom Edition, the Join Or Die Edition, and the Special Edition.
In addition to a retail copy of the game, the Freedom Edition will include a 9" figurine of Connor, an exclusive lithograph, George Washington's notebook (revealing the secrets behind the Templars and Assassins during the American Revolution), a steelbook case art featuring Alex Ross, two single player missions entitled "Lost Mayan Ruins" and "Ghost of War", and a multiplayer package called "The Sharpshooter". The Join or Die Edition will feature Connor's Medallion, George Washington's notebook, single player mission "Ghost of War", and multiplayer package "The Sharpshooter". The Special Edition, which really doesn't sound all that special, will come with a single player mission "A Dangerous Secret", awarding the player with the exclusive Flintock Musket upon completion.
Assassin's Creed III arrives on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on October 30, 2012 in North America and October 31 in the PAL region.
