Liked the first, loved the second, but the last two have been dragging this shit out with filler and unnecessary new mechanics.
I went from really liking to series to getting really meh about it.
Hopefully.
Probably won't know until it actually ships.
Isn't three years, like... A REALLY short development time for a AAA title? I'm pretty sure movie license games take about that long to make... I don't like the sound of this.
3 years is honestly more than most get. I want to say the average is pumping them out in 2 years.
@Epic-Kx
I want that too.
Nah, 3 years is pretty standard, has been for a while. It's when games only take half that time that you should worry. Cough, Dragon Age 2, cough.
I think they had core ideas and a mythos rife with opportunity to build every world uniquely and weave a tapestry of intriguing gameplay across history but instead played it safe and put good ideas on the backburner in order to slowly implement gameplay and more efficiently milk the franchise. Unless they make a radical departure from the recent time period, color me completely uninterested.
DEAR GOD I NEVER THOUGHT THIS GAME WOULD COME OUT AFTER THAT 10 YEAR POSTPONEMENT, IT'S OVER, HUMANITY IS FINISHED!!!!!
@Epic
Despite my dripping hate for the company, I'm right there with you in wanting more of that too.
@Epic Hahahaha.......no.
Movie license games has about a year to work with (which is ridiculously short)...
I hope so, that's probably what I'll do if I manage to get this game. Honestly the only reason I even want to try Revalations is that the multiplayer intrigues me - and even that is soured by the idea that I'll probably have to rebuy the game every year if I don't want to play in a ghost town online.
Also that header picture is adorable.
No i cant bring myself to say it with a straight face
even those ends Dull Desmonds story the games have burned out also even though it meant to end a story arc it will no doubt shoe horn a twist in.
AC is like M Night Shyamalan wet dream with twists that appear out of nowhere
Also I really want this game to be set in Nazi-occupied France. You have the beautiful architecture, jumping over the rooftops of Paris like Quasimodo, and who doesn't like killing Nazis?
