F*ckin' Twitter. So hip. Hip kids are doing it. World news breaks 140 characters at a time. Game news, while less important, breaks much more frequently on Twitter. Take today, for instance. This morning, Ubisoft farts out a little tweet that drops the official date for the first DLC for Assassin's Creed 2.
DLC 1 is a worldwide release, out on PS Store and XBL Marketplace on Jan 28 everywhere it can be
As we told you before, this is the DLC titled "Battle of Forli." Bonfire of the Vanities" is slated for some time next month.
Back to the Twitter thing. Come to think of it, releasing news on Twitter is probably easiest for both the PR people and the press, seeing as how both of them spend most of their days checking their Twitter feeds.
