[Every week (until I get bored), Art Juice takes a recent videogame story and provides an unremittingly artistic slant, telling us a little something about ourselves in the process ... whether we want to know the truth or not!]
Since Biblical times, mankind has feared the snake. It's a symbol of danger, thematically associated with mistrust and cold, merciless death. This is why my artistic eye envisages videogame auteur David Cage embracing the reptilian creature so thoroughly.
David Cage is a man who dares, a man who takes the danger of life and makes it his steed. The Serpent of Dawn represents mankind's fear of the tomorrow, and David Cage so effortlessly rides that terror we all fear, while reminding us that he made Heavy Rain, the popular hit available only on PlayStation 3.
I think this speaks out to all of us who are afraid, and states that perhaps we should all be like Cage, grabbing that terrible snake with our hands and wrestling it until we are satisfied. I find this artwork inspiring and it makes me want to greet each day with courage and dignity.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
Also Cocks.
sigh
Ergo, Jim Sterling's unbridled lust for David Cage has manifested itself via MS Paint
Jim Sterling is the object of my affection.
and dicks riding :P
courtesy to "TheNephilym" on this one :P
Then get back to fucking work.
I apologize.
FEAR MY SNAKE!
This is in no way sensationalist. Cage's cock is nowhere near that small.
If I were proactive rather than reactive, you might have a point. Regardless, I apologized. My work is done.
It's probably because Jim's from the UK and Cage is French.
How does it feel to know that your assholery won't be followed to the ends of the earth? Fucking loser.
Will do, but I'd ask if you'd do the same instead of doodling.
If you had half the righteousness you portray, you'd simply NEVER comment on anything Jim does, and refuse to read anything by him on Dtoid. But then, that'd be too hard, wouldn't it? It's always easier to be a whiny little bitch, which is why there are so many in the world.

Why people so butthurt tho? They been ridin the snake as well?
Do you even know who you're defending from pokota? Seriously, switch pokota's name with Jimbo's and your statement will make just as much sense as it did before.
"It's always easier to be a whiny little bitch, which is why there are so many in the world."
Ain't that the truth, as you so aptly illustrate. Thank you for so selflessly using yourself as an example. Now dry your eyes, I wasn't even being very mean to Mr. Sterling this time. It was so obvious in this particular instance that I was more making fun of you and the rest of the Sterling Fanboy Club than Sterling himself.
And here you are, to save the day. Rock on.
