Something about Themrock's art style just wants to make me smile. The way he has some of the characters such as Rachtet, Earthworm Jim, the various Mario look extremely happy should make you want to smile from the pure joy of their expressions. Dirk "Themrock" Schulz main art style takes well-known characters and turns them into extremely cartoony versions of their former selves. It reminds me a lot of Ren & Stimpy's art style actually.
Themrock also takes characters and makes them extremely tiny. That concept sounds a little weird, but the results are pretty damn adorable. Themrock also has a little flash animation worth checking out making fun of the whole concept of the Mario Bros. series.
What do you all think about Themrock's art style? It's really hard for me to pick just one of his pieces as my favorite. I think I have to go with the ones where Mario and Luigi are getting brutally murdered.
