[Art Attack Friday is your weekly look at videogame fan art created by a talented artist.]
Art Attack Friday this week is all about TWULF. Most notable from TWULF’s collection is his Hylian Hero pieces. TWULF says it’s “perfectly logical that perhaps somewhere along the time line, the chosen hero is a daughter of Hyrule and not a son.” I have to agree and would gladly play a Zelda game starring a female hero if she looks anything as good as TWULF’s concepts.
My favorite thing about TWULF's drawing style is how he draws faces. The Lara Croft, Samus and especially Banjo and Kazooie pieces are all great and their facial expressions really make the pieces shine.
For more of TWULF's work, check out his official Web site and deviantART page.

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
also, joker Ganondorf.
MOAR, yes, that's the appropriate internet slang. :)
I would LOVE to play as a girl, except the only problem I see is, the family tree sorta end there doesn't it. I mean, if and when she marries. Which in order to keep a family tree going (the past heroes this is) they would have to have married and you know... done the nasty.
Not an inch of skin to be seen, yet that's the hottest female Link i've laiod my eyes on. Even the cover artwork for the fake game is awesome.
Aonuma talks about the next Zelda game, a prequel to Wind Waker detailing the Great Flood. Link never appears, so some schizophrenic starts to believe that he is the hero, and basically goes about doing the hero's job. As the game progresses, Hyrule floods more and more, and the 'hero' begins to look more and more like Link.
Given what Miyamoto recently said regarding the next Zelda and the concept art to go along with it, I imagine the interview is fake.
I really really rally love his art, great style. One of the best AAF I have seen so far.
Also, not to offend anyone, since I've loved Zelda since my single-digit years, but once the fan art starts getting me more excited than an actual game, something is wrong.
:D
