Paul Robertson is easily one of my favorite animators of all time. His work is amazing and I just can't get enough of his style.
We first featured his work back in April. Tlack brought it to Niero's attention so you just know he had to make a post about it. It's where I first laid eyes on Tako King, the beautiful octopus holding the 3 zombie chicks above. 2 months later, Paul released the greatest 2D video game concept evar. It's a twelve minute long video of what we all wish video game companies would make more often.

A few months later, he released an animation done for a very catchy music video. The group is Architecture in Helsinki and the song is Do the Whirlwind (I dare you not to dance to this).
Around the same time as Do the Whirlwind, I came across this video below called Devil Eyes. I'm going to sound like I'm on crack when I explain this, but basically the video is about this stuffed cat and panda. They are playing games when they decide to play hide in go seek. The panda wonders off with a ... fluffy ... alien ... thingy and leaves the cat by herself. The cat goes looking for the panda and that's when things get really bloody.
His next project is going to be another music video. Paul is very cryptic about his work but here are two images taken from the animation.
Everything that's in the gallery is stuff that I'm assuming is going to be in his next animation. He has been working on this super secret animation for several months now and I really can't wait anymore to see it!

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.
