Art Attack Friday: nemurism photo

Here we go with this week's Art Attack Friday. Since I know you all have been desperately craving a fix of hard-core StarFox fanart, I offer you the work of nemurism to satiate your needs. Nemurism's extensive collection of fan artwork not only features the colorful cast from the StarFox franchise, but also sneaks in a variety of other characters originating from videogames, anime, and even Prison Break.

Nemurism's delectable use of pastel palettes and loose brush-work gives each of her videogame tribute pieces a soft and light-hearted edge to their otherwise polygonal façades. Character personalities exude from works like Expressions (shown above), while some of her more shadowy pieces like Snake attacking Luigi mainatain a vibe that's cleverly comedic. I'm personally partial to her Link Lv. 2 drawing, but feel free to explore and find your own favorites by checking out her gallery on DeviantArt.

Those are really nice. I think she would do really well with original stuff, and maybe a picture book.

Love it. This is definitely one of my favorite AAF artists yet.

The Fox and Peach picture cracked me up, I loved that scene in the Subspace Emissary because it was just so ridiculously random. xD

This is excellent stuff. Some of this artwork contains some really subtle things, and I loved the Avatar/Pokemon crossover.
