The Art Attack spotlight falls upon Deimos-Remus this week. Deimos-Remus has a couple of notable series in his art collection. First up is his effort in turning Super Mario Bros. 2 enemies into complete badasses. The Bob-omb, Shyguys and Mouser all get an extreme makeover. I don't know about you, but seeing an updated version of Mario Bros. 2 like this would just be EPIC.
The other eye-catching pieces from Deimos' collection are the mega videogame battles. One part Super Smash Bros., one part Mortal Kombat; mascots from different platforms and games come together to beat the living sh*t out of each other ... and drink together too.

Hamza Aziz, Destructoid's Community Director, has been here since day one. He was born when a tiger coughed up a hairball into a pool of ooze. He was one of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before budget cuts. Hamza works as a previews editor and manages a team in San Francisco. Thanks for looking into that - it puts him in the right age range that many of us were estimating. Hopefully he'll choose to pursue this hobby to a greater extent since this is about the age where a lot of people (speaking from many personal anecdotes) decide whether to make drawing a pursuit or a casual distraction.
