Need another game to put on your radar? Well, if Army of Two isn't already there, then it's about time you started paying attention. Forget the fact that our favorite publisher EA is involved and just look at this thing. It's friggin' impressive. Ever since some of us saw it at last year's E3, we've been dying to hear and see more of it in action. This latest vid is just one more example of why next-gen gaming is something to really be excited about -- at least I am.

I'm all for an FPS with humor.

My video got stuck as well; I had to download it.

I could warm up to a shooter that captures that "buddy cop movie" vibe.

I'm hoping the co-op is as solid (or as close as possible) to Gears - definitely keeping an eye on this title.

Damn... Mxyzptlk beat me too it... Yeah had my eye on this since I first read about it... Pimped out guns/facemasks, a partner strong enough to pull the friggin' door off a truck, witty banter that contains expletives, and all while gunning down bad guys? Count me in... If things keep shaping up this way it might just be more than an Army of Two... Oh yeah, I also read that when you die, your partner revives you while you try to run away from a light at the end of a tunnel... this game certainly seems to have a good sense of humor. Gonna be good I think.

Looks cool, I had my eye on this a while back, but this vid makes it look even better, we need some ingame engine shots though.

I for one was not expecting the witty banter. Well played.

Are the voice overs in-game or are we supposed to assume that it's two guys chatting over Xbox Live? Other than that confusion, I've always been excited about this little title.

I remember back when EGM had this featured as their most anticipated new IP, and everybody was like, "Uhh... what the hell?" Because nobody had ever heard of it before then.

When I first started looking at this game I was surprised that EA was putting it out, "EA putting out a game that isn't a rehash of something else? What the Hell!?" But everything I've seen about it looks awesome. At one time I know you could put tampons in your partners bullet wounds to stop bleeding but I think they took it out when people were weirded out by it.

I really enjoy the two player coop games. Ever since Gears I've been craving more and more. Between this and Battlefield: Bad Company I think I'll be satisfied until more devs jump on the coop bandwagon.

I would hardly call the banter between the goons in army of two "witty." The "insert fuck here" brand of humor doesn't really do it for me. Hopefully this game will be good though. EA could use some new IPs.

It seems like they took the best out of halo multiplayer, Gears of war, Splinter cell and put it in a single package. Yummy! lets see how it works!

BTW if you havent played Co-op in Halo, Gears of War and (in lesser ammount) Splinter cell you have missed at least 50% of the fun in the game.

Grim: this is not an FPS is a TPS like Gears of war

I all about the co-op baby! The fact that it's co-op centric, shiny in the graphics dept, has a sens of humor, and good gun customization outs it at the top of my list.

For some reason i can see this doing better with XBLV then Sonys Homo-I mean Home. Especially when this game is dependent on Co-Op...

I want some actual in-game footage. Is this PS3 or 360 exclusive? If not I have to make a decision on which will have the best graphics.

I'm liking the spin they're putting on these trailers, its good to finally see some humor thrown into a game. Furthermore, the game itself is looking to shape up to be pretty damn good. I'm def looking forward to it.

Looks good. Hey, with all that male bonding, they could make a sequel and call it "Army of 2 become 1".

I laughed out loud when the guy was like "I'm driving." Then the other dude pushed him out of the way and said "Fuck you I'm driving." If they have that stuff in the game, I will play it forever.

Easily comparable to Gears of War, but the comedy really gives it an edge. If your AI partner gives you shit, I will definitely buy it. This along with Kane and Lynch gives me hope that co-op gaming is truly coming back as opposed of some pompous 13-year old with Downs calling me a fag in-game.

Actually, if my AI teammate calls me a fag, I will laugh my tits off. Then shoot his dumbass. Say hello to emergent gameplay, suckas.

It looks like a lot of the dialogue is adr'ed on top of the exhisting footage, and is probably not representative of the game. Kind of like the battlefield:bad something game trailer.

The preview builds had the AI talk back to you. I see no reason they would take it out.

I remember an article about you and your partner had to fire sniper rifles at the same time. When you intiated the countdown to fire the AI refused and said that you missed last time so he starts it.
