Army of Two: five updated screenshots photo

Fresh from the leathery asschaps of EA come five new screenshots of Army Of Two, a unique co-op game promising to pump fresh blood into the flacid member that is the FPS market. The gallery below includes high quality stills of the protagonists, huge (jaggy?) seemingly destructible environments, and the man-on-man gameplay that I'm about to make dirty. When you fire this game up remember to ask yourself ... shall I be the pitcher or the catcher?

JeuxFrance is reporting that these are PS3 and Xbox 360 screenies. Looks pretty damn good, but you'll have to see the video to see why we're calling it the new hotness.

Does it really matter, both versions are going to look almost the same anyway.

djWHEAT is just upset because he wants to call the 360 screenshots inferior to the PS3, but he wants to make sure he doesn't call the PS3 ones inferior.

"I think you hurt that truck."

Not impressed with the graphics either, hope this is just because its unfinished code.

Regardless of what djWHEAT's intentions are, it would be nice to know which are 360 and which are PS3. Are they REALLY the exact same?

It would be hard to tell the difference, at the moment to me even if the PS3 had more under the hood than the 360 it's not enough to make a real difference.

Are you sure it's FPS? From what I've seen so far, it doesn't look like first-person.

I hope they have since gotten rid of that stupid peanuts humor they had in that trailer. I don't want to be a character that acts like he is 12 years old.

oh yeah, wheat, they probably dont know which is which, but yes, it'd be nice to know.

yeah, the difference in graphics it going to be very little if any. First off, it's being made by EA, they're probably going to put it on everything under the sun. Secondly, this game started being made a little over a year ago.

I would put money on these being PS3 screenies. Not because I'm no fan of Sony (which I'm not), but these screenshots are very "jagged" as Niero pointed out. I've only witnessed such blatant disregard for anti-aliasing on one of those two consoles, and it wasn't the 360.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't care that EA rehashes all of their stupid crap for Madden and the other sports games. I like their original IPs and I assume that I will like this one as well.

P.S. Call me a simpleton, but I like witty banter. It keeps things from being too "go here, shoot terrorists, go here, shoot terrorists" over and over and over again.

Somehow I have the feeling that the game will be just about that, Zero_tolo.

It's EA. As much as I love the idea for this game, I can't help but wonder how EA is going to completely fuck it up like every other game.
